DAY 01 : ITALY – CHENNAI 
Departure from Italy with flight to Chennai. Upon your arrival in Chennai, a representative from our office will meet you and take you to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel. 

02nd DAY : CHENNAI – MAHABALIPURAM (60 km. 2 hours approximately)
After breakfast, half day of visits to the city: the Bronze Museum, the Fruit and Flower Market, the Court, the Fort Museum, the Marina Beach and the Cathedral of San Tommaso. In the afternoon drive to Mahabalipuram. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

03rd DAY: MAHABALIPURAM – PONDICHERRY (100 km. 2 hours approximately)
After breakfast, visit of Mahabalipuram and its 7th century temples. Then, departure for Pondicherry. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, stroll through the Pondicherry market. Overnight.

04th DAY: PONDICHERRY – CHIDAMBARAM – TANJORE (180 km. Approximately 4 hours)
After breakfast, visit of Pondicherry. Visit of the city and of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Later departure for Swamimalai. En route visit Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram. The roof of the sanctum sanctorum is covered with gold foil! After the visit continue to Tanjore. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

05th DAY: TANJORE – TRICHY – MADURAI (200 km. 4 hours approximately)
After breakfast, visit of the Brihadeshwara temple dedicated to the god Shiva and of the museum which houses the precious collection of bronzes of the Chola dynasty. In the afternoon, departure for Trichy to visit the temple-city of Srirangam, where pilgrims celebrate ancient rituals on the banks of the Kaveri River. Later transfer to Madurai, arrival and in the evening you will attend the Evening Puja at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight.

06th DAY: MADURAI – PERIYAR (145 km. 4 hours approximately)
After breakfast, visit the colorful temple dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi, the Museum and the royal palace of Tirumalai Nayak. In the afternoon transfer to Periyar. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 07 : PERIYAR 
In the morning, boat trip on Periyar Lake to see the animals in their natural environment. You will see “Wild Boars, Sambars, Wild Dogs, Langur Monkeys and Wild Elephants”. Rest of the day at leisure for relaxation or personal activities. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 08 : PERIYAR – KUMARAKOM (130 km. 4 hours approximately)
After breakfast, transfer to Kumarakom, arrival and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 09 : KUMARAKOM – ALLEPPEY (backwater cruise till Alleppey)
After breakfast visit the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary which is the most visited park by tourists who come to Kumarakom. There are many species of birds, especially in winter when they migrate here in the warmth. In the early afternoon check in on a traditional Kerala house boat to have a complete experience among the famous Backwaters of Kerala, intricate man-made channels that spread like a thick spider web, through cultivated fields, fishing villages, etc. Lunch, dinner, overnight on board. 

DAY 10 : ALLEPPEY – COCHIN (65 km. 1 hour approximately)
Breakfast on board and check out of the Houseboat and departure by car for Cochin. Arrival and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, you will witness a Kathakkali dance performance. Overnight at hotel in Cochin.

DAY 11 : COCHIN – ITALY 
After breakfast visit of Cochin with the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry, the Synagogue in the heart of the Jewish quarter, the Church of San Francesco, the oldest church in India. In the late evening, transfer to the international airport to take the flight back to Italy.
