SRINAGAR AND LADAKH - 15 DAYS

The valley of Jammu & Kashmir state is an enchantment of nature with lakes, rivers, streams with crystal clear waters, green expanses, meadows of flowers, beautiful mountains and a friendly population that lives off the products of nature and handicrafts such as carpets and papier-mâché which was introduced around 1400 from Samarkand, at the time of Tamerlane. Srinagar built around the Dal lake, in whose waters the green mountains of Kashmir are reflected, infuses tranquility and harmony, Sonamarg “Prato d’Oro” is located in a valley between glaciers and placid lakes, Gulmarg which literally means “meadow of flowers”, is the starting point for interesting treks and is also the most important winter sports center in India, with the “Valley of Flowers” in Ladakh, the Nubra Valley is majestic; a group of crops grown in the middle of an arid desert, surrounded by the Karakorum Range and crossed by rivers (Nubra means garden).
